The Commuter: Fair movie for the adrenaline junkie who wants a movie night with the comforts of a sofa, refrigerator, and pause button. The Commuter was watchable, but for me predictable. I knew was involved nearly right away. If you like Liam Neeson as much as I do, then this one will hold your attention and provide a decent night’s entertainment. I give this movie ⚡⚡⚡
A Quiet Place: An amazing, hair-raising, heart-pulsing ride. I think I held my breath through half of the movie. The actors were wonderful. Talk about jumping from the frying pan in to fire, theninto an erupting volcano, theninto a tsunami, only to fall back into the grease pooping frying pan again. Goodness, I might have aged six months watching this one. I give it an electrifying ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
MoviePass: The service costs $9.95 per month, and for that fee, MoviePass lets you see one movie per day in a theater. Let me just say I am a fan. I received my card in the mail about a week a and a half ago and it has already paid for itself. It’s simple when you get to the theater, check into the movie you want to see, and show your pass and ID at the box office. The only drawback is that I’m the only one in my house with one, and for now you have to go to the actual box office to get your ticket. Once they begin e-ticketing I will be unstoppable. I love it.
